Sustaining Dunbar is a local charity working to make Dunbar an even better place to be. Among other things we would like to make it easier for people to choose not to drive and to support those who are not able to.
It is not just about being ‘greener’ – we all benefit from a living in a town without the nuisance and danger of busy roads and hopefully, while we are out and about on foot, on bikes and in buses, we will get to know a bit more of our neighbours, and really feel part of the town in which we live.
Sustaining Dunbar’s sustainable travel project employs 3 part-time members of staff thanks to funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund.
